SUPPORT THE RIALTO
Your Gifts Make A Difference
On March 7, 2020, the Rialto Center for the Arts welcomed our last in-person audience of the 2020 season. Although the COVID-19 Pandemic has temporarily changed how we bring world-class artists to our Atlanta stage, the Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State University is finding new and creative ways to bring the arts to our patrons.
At the dawn of our second century, the Rialto faces an uncertain future. Canceled shows and events have created unprecedented challenges that have an immediate and lasting impact on our ability to serve as a place where exceptional artistry thrives and diverging cultures blend together.
The Rialto has created innovative programming since we closed in March, including online virtual programming such as Live at the Rialto, Rialto Replays, Feed Your Senses Livestream and the Rialto Home Grown Artist Series. Additionally, we recently announced our partnership with Atlanta Ballet to stream their choreographic programs in February and March 2021. In October, we also launched an exciting new joint venture with GSUTV and the Creative Media Industries Institute: a public affairs series with Pulitzer prize winning author Douglas Blackmon titled Crucial Conversations.
Whether on stage, on screen, in the classroom or among the streets of downtown, the Rialto is an integral part of the Georgia State community and the City of Atlanta. Now, more than ever, we need your support to ensure that the Rialto continues to provide exceptional and diverse arts programming that provides hope to our Atlanta community and beyond. Make your gift today.
Thank you for your support, and we hope to see you at the Rialto soon!
