Capitol Steps

Mock the Vote!

The Capitol Steps began their more-than-three-decades’-long career as America’s unofficial court jesters in 1981 when a group of Senate staffers began planning entertainment for an office Christmas party. Digging into the day’s headlines, they created satirical, musical skits which have become their trademark brand of political humor. Since then, they have recorded dozens of albums and been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, NPR, and PBS. As the Capitol Steps will appear at the Rialto just weeks before this year’s Presidential election, you won’t want to miss their equal-opportunity send-up of all things political.
